2018 CALENDAR OF EVENTS All meetings start at 6:30 p.m. with a social period; Meeting agenda will begin at 7:00 JANUARY 2 — Jeremy Culler, assistant professor of Art History at USC-Aiken, will speak on The Impact of Modern Technology on the Arts. JANUARY 18 - APRIL 13 Convent of St. Helena show FEBRUARY 6 — Angelika Bondar, from Columbia County Artists Guild, will show how any art can be turned into sculpture relief. MARCH 6 — Danielle, from Clementina Jewelry, will speak on how she creates her designs. APRIL 3 — Guild members will have a Show-and-Tell evening, with each artist bringing no more than two pieces. The pieces can be finished works that they’re proud of, or pieces that they would like advice on. This is not a formal critique, but a sharing session. APRIL 14 — FIELD TRIP Artist and NAAG member Elizabeth Barnes will open her clay and stone studio for a tour. Details TBA. MAY 1 — Kristin Casaletto, art professor at the Augusta University, will do a presentation on her art and the styles she uses. You can view some of her art at kristincasaletto.com. JUNE 5 — Robert Amato, local artist, will speak on how he developed his unique style of painting.
